Fast, robust, feature-rich, and absurdly easy-to-use. MultiCharts makes every other retail charting platform I've seen look like a college coding project. If you trade for a living, or even for a hobby, it's worth 10x what they charge. Seriously. |

Incredible, MC64 becomes better and better. The compiling of the PLA files is now 100% faster than before, that means you'll need 50% less time than before to compile all your files in your PL Editor. The new implemented feature 'Commentary Window' is very useful to debug the own code especially to find dynamic bugs in the own developed code. |

As a programmer and developer of my own EasyLanguage tools, I long since committed to working exclusively with MultiCharts for my coding after becoming frustrated with the persistent limitations of TradeStation.
MultiCharts makes full use of my system hardware with features like MultiThreading, and the stability and speed of the latest 64 bit edition put MC miles ahead of the competition.
For me as a programmer, the precision tick sequencing functionality down to microsecond accuracy makes it possible to produce code calculations that can only be imagined in other platforms :)
The continual and ongoing implementation of user suggestions, and the genuine efforts to duplicate bugs and eliminate them quickly in my mind puts MultiCharts as a Gold Standard in support of their users and development of the platform.
For someone considering their options for a charting and execution or automation platform, look no further. |

Looking back from where the software has been when I bought it, to where it is now truly is amazing. From a "simple" charting software it has become the most advanced software offering the best technology in it's pricing range. The 64bit version, which currently is in beta stage, will be the next step, as performance wise it raises the bar to a new level. I guess there is no point in writing about the features again and again, as you can read extensively about them in the other reviews. However one thing I'd like to point out is their outstanding support staff. If you encounter a problem, the helpdesk staff is always very helpful and either present you with a solution right away or gets back to you in a timely fashion in case the developers have to analyze the problems any further. Another great thing is that they really listen to your needs - in case you need a feature and they agree on it's use, it will quickly find it's way into the next build. There is not more much you can ask for and all this for a one time fee, no additional support fees or upgrade charges. |
