Realtick has jacked their prices up to crazy levels. A feed for all symbols with api access is now like $400/month or more. Up from $155 the previous year. They have lost their damn minds.
i used this platform as an institutional order entry and market tracking software. After 1 month i switched. When i finally figureded it out and had it set up with the indicators i use (nothing special) it had bugs and i had to start all over again. When a few stop loss orders did not ececute...i closed the account.
Real Tick has incredibly intelligent people on their team...however since the margins have been pinched sharply by the reduction in commissions and monthly costs...It is my opinion that there is not much reason for them to focus on a marginal business...whereas their other businesses are more fruitful...
They played an incredibly successful role in the rise of the trading business...however their retail approach is lacking good stewardship....
