    What I posted are behavior(s) associated with B/Os

    Get a chart.., spend time studying it.., and look for these - matters not the TF (Time Sample) you use

    I could post thousands.., upon thousands of examples - where the B/O worked..., and where it failed

    But until you can identify.., then exploit..., these - me posting charts is useless - for you

    ================================

    Post up some charts and we can discuss if you like

  5. Get in before it breaks out and sell on the breakout

    What a load of crap

    ===================

    Price making a move (trending to most)

    It PB into a range..., then BO to continue the move

    And you suggests he exits on the BO - missing this move (thrust)

    You also suggest he enter in an area that..., in many circumstances..., should be classified as a range trade

    Outstanding!!!!!

    ============================

    Fact is - there is not one fit all answer

    Recent / current environment needs to be taken into account..., and even then - it evolves

    =====================

    OP is learning - he can do without the BS

    I think he meant sell after the breakout meaning a "on the breakout" occurrence, like a traditional support/resistance breakout.

  8. If your watching something trending strongly towards a potential breakout area, it will nearly always test the area with a failed breakout, so get in as its trending towards the level and get out on the break

  9. And redneck it isn't "a load of crap" as you put it, because I have done it loads of times

    this is what ive been doing. Ive been mainly watching for a consolidation toward sideways and if i start to see a slow gradual move upward i then start to look for signs that it will breakout.
