  1. Hi there,

I am currently in need of ES minute data for the following contracts and times:

ES 3-15 ( not sure of the correct letter for the month but I think it s ESU)

    Dates: From March 1 - 15

    ES 6-15

    Dates: From April 17 - June 15

Only want clean accurate data, please can you reply back with a quote thank you.

It should be directly compatible with Ninjatrader 7.

One thing I would suggest that might work.. although I'm not sure, is if you sign up for a Sierra Charts demo, you will have 2 free weeks and access to historical tick data for 3 years. I would imagine that you could download the data you need and export it to some format that you might then be able to import into Ninja. I'm not sure about this, but its something you can look into. Likewise, I thought that Ninja also provided free historical data anyway.

I don't think legally anyone would be able to sell you the data, given that this post is in the classified section, since nobody really owns this, they just got it to use for themselves from their broker/ data provider. But again, I'm only speculating here.

  3. Thanks for the advice. "Legally", people aren't supposed to be streaming movies either....

So this is if you sign up for a demo directly through Sierra Charts?

Ninja would never provide free data, its a platform, not a data feed. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Correct. Before I bought a package, since I loved Sierra (which is much better than Ninja if you ask me), I had access to historical data. Like they say, live streaming data is different since this is a cost from the exchange that someone has to pay, but their own servers can send you historical data during this free trial, and if you sign up, then of course you always have access to it as well. 3 years of tick data I believe on the major futures and then maybe 1 minute data for the past 10 years.

  5. Have you ever exported data into a text file from Sierra?

I did and it is in second form which is not supported by Ninja!!!

  6. Come on someone must have ES data they can share with me!! I am willing to pay for it!

  7. I will give it to you for free. I can send them as text files to you. send me a PM.

Sierra publishes their data format for both intraday (.scid) and historical formats (.dly). The exported forms are just CSV, which isn't exactly difficult to deal with.

  9. Thats the spirit!!! check your PM

  10. Wow now I think I should of just forked out $50 to buy the ninja compatible data, b/c now I am battling to convert this Sierra Data into the correct Text format.
