Yeah, work day starts early on West Coast, especially if you want to take part in pre-market and get ready before that... That mean getting up at 4:30... ?!
When it comes to options "work day" can start at noon pst. Plan your trade from 12 noon to 1pm, and place a trade just before the market closes.
