Hard to know where to put this, but I thought this forum as good as any. This is a modern version of one of my favorite books/turned show of all time. Probably must reading. I have to think it through, if I understand correctly, I think I am reaching a different conclusion than he is, particularly in Chapter 2 & 3. No No No my friend. This is bad / incomplete reasoning. Assurance costs money but can save your life. You forgot to weight P(event) with it's own impact.
