    Hi all,

I am interested in the new TT platform, but it has been a while now and I still cannot see any of the major FCMs offering it on their websites (Advantage Futures, RCG, Dorman, Wedbush/Crossland...).
Does anyone here have some more info on the new platform, when it will be available, what are the advantages over Xtrader 7 for an oldschool DOM scalper ?

    Thx :)

  2. What are FCMS? So they still exist and why would you pay middlemen for doing nothing?

You are much better off contacting TT directly. If you can't get through to a good salesperson, email me directly and I'll send you the rep I have spoken to.

All clearing firms are registered FCMs. What industry do you work in?

I assume you are directing that question to me. I don't work for a clearing broker or FCM. I work for Victor Securities. We are introducing brokers (IB) to clearing firms and FCMs. We provide professional brokerage and focus on equities/options and futures/options. Basically, an IB brings business to the FCMs and Clearing brokers and provides service/support as the single point of contact for all business, yet you still get an online login to the clearing firm or FCM as your securities, cash and positions are custody with them.

  7. In the US my friend. Everywhere else FCMs do not even exist. The US is working hard at reaching full employment by keeping all the middlemen and roaches and parasites on the payroll via ridiculous and totally outdated regulations.

Lol, IntroducIng Broker, the middleman of the middleman of the middleman. Awesome. Everywhere else you have a clearing house , clearing members (which are often brokers or dealers ), custodians and that's it. Please educate me what service an IB or FCM exactly serves?

An FCM is a clearing house broker registered with exchange. You don't work in this industry do you?

  9. Maybe my sarcasm escaped you but I do understand what an FCM is. I do however question their need or utility in case you did not get my point . By the way your definition is absolutely incorrect. Brokers in the US even go through FCMs per regulations so absolutely FCMs are NOT CH brokers. Please look up the exact definition at NFA in case you are confused.
