It's been awhile since I posted here, but was looking for some links to sites that provide real-time stock scanners. Thanks
check http://www.marketvolume.com/stocks/select.asp you will have overbought/oversold stock scanners, volatility, volume and money flow filters, plus technical scanners like stocks that dropped below specific MA and etc.
Have tried many in the past (Finviz, TradeStation, MarkeVolume, etc), but the best one IMO is portfolio123 - very reliable data feed, timely updates, and allows the very easy customization of screening rules (easy to use/learn) - basically you can code anything you want into into - let me know if you need any help - also whether you need technical or fundamentals screen rules (or a combination)? For a not free scanner for any market for price patterns only with ability for portfolio backtesting and calculation of expectancy the best is Price Action Lab. But no indicators or stuff like that, just price patterns.
One more thing - if you are looking for a real time stocks scanner - check the speed. The most important thing is to get signal very quick - of course each milisecond is important I've been using Trade Ideas, MadScan and Sterling Scanner (which is based on Madscan I think). Trade Ideas great for me, but sometimes the same filter works better (or quicker) on Sterling Scanner.
