I read a list of "scams" on another thread, but are there recommended advisors for auto trading, perhaps for ETFs or E-mini's?

Sorry, I'm a little confused as to what you are looking for. Are you looking for someone to help automate your strategy or are you looking to allocate assets toward a hedge fund or RIA that has an automated strategy?

Thanks for responding. I am looking for a program to use for automated trading or an advisor for an autotrading service.

  5. That list seems to be missing a few of the biggest players.

From personal experience of the larger CTA's I would rate AHL, Bluetrend (now systemica) and Aspect (all inevitably European shops). All have done pretty well in the last 12 months, but the recommendation is based more on having a solid process. Cantab are also okay, but aren't quite as 'trend following' biased, which may not suit. Winton run with a very low vol, which makes their fees look expensive, and I don't rate them so much.

Disclosure: I have long dated OTM share options in Man group, AHL's parent company
