Hi, read and searched through the forum, could not find info i need.

It seems that from what is out there as prop firms that take deposits. Are now T3 and its affiliates. Heard of Chimera as well. I know there has got to be some more others out there.

Can anyone share info on more prop firms out there that are good options?

  2. The search should have brought up the list. Anyways, in no particular order:

    T3
    Chimera Securities
    Avatar Securities
    Bright Trading
    Quasar Trading
    Hold Brothers Capital
    Great Point Capital

The above are U.S. registered firms that require a license and a capital contribution (Chimera takes deposits from experienced traders, and also recruits newbie traders and trains them for no cost).

There was a post I read awhile back with a list of firms that hire traders (traditional prop, no capital contribution), however it's buried in the Prop Firms thread. I'm sure if you look deep enough you'll find the post. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the response. I have not seen anything written up recently about Great point capital. On their balance sheet it seems that they are large for these props. Anyone around that is with them, or was with them recently that can share anything?

  4. i believe you need series 7 and 55 to trade with great point as opposed to just the 56 with these other firms
