Thanks for bringing back the memories. That card was state of the art back then for gamers. Now, I'm not even sure, there are Windows 7 drivers for that card.

  3. its that old ?

Video cards are relatively inexpensive these days, you can pick up two decent card's for under $100, which will last you another 4 years. In addition to providing you the versatility of outputs, HDMI, DVI, etc...

(assuming you have two PCI express buses available)

Just go to newegg, and use their power selector to filter down your requirements.

I prefer Nvidia over ATI, but whatever floats your boat. As long as you use matched cards you will avoid driver conflicts.

Note: my experience EVGA/ASUS > PNY

You don't need a high power card to drive charts, fwiw

  5. Ditto on Nvidia.

For trading I prefer NVS 295, 300, or 310. Available on eBay for $10-$35. (You may need either DMS-59 or DVI-DP adapters, depending upon your video cables. Additional cost for the adapters unless included with the card. (If you go this route and need adapters let me know and I'll show you where to get a good price on them. Some places charge 4-5X the best price.) All work just fine and all are compatible with each other while using the same driver. (I currently run 1 NVS 310 + 1 NVS 295 in my primary charting rig.)

If you want a more modern 4-head, I love NVS 510, but it is closer to $200 on the Bay. The NVS 295, referenced above is an excellent card for trading, and it is around $10 nowadays. Passive cooler, no spinning parts to break, no noise..

I had 1 of those when I first went multi screen, top gamers card at the time, got to be 10 if not 12 years ago, it's that old.

Good times, playing Quake 1 LOL

I do not believe something like that was even in 2012 or so, I do remember Matrox for sure as well as S3, as well as Trident as well as Voodo 3dfx as well as something like ughh... I am not sure even, but it was, but it's more like 2002 and not 2012 really, are you sure about that ?

I had the G400 , 2000bc era to run to great big massive old CRT 19" screens for day trading.

Had a Voodo before and likely the other 2 was into my gaming back then, used the different graphics standard, OpenGL was it.
