IBM - reverses Futures - could be starting a 3rd wave down today

  1. Effect on the Dow today

"We are disappointed in our performance. We saw a marked slowdown in September in client buying behavior, and our results also point to the unprecedented pace of change in our industry," Ginni Rometty, IBM chairman, president and CEO said in a statement.

    Ouch!

The underlined statement above can trigger a wave 3 down.

  2. S2007S

    S2007S

I'm really surprised to see the nasdaq up over .70% and the dow nearly trading to the upside with one of the most heavily weighted down components off nearly 8%
You would think the dow would be off 1.5% on this news....

    Nice call

  4. Q.E.D. = Done = wave 3 down triggered = done deal = bye bye IBM

    :)

  5. AfterLOS Sales Closing Psychology 101 applied to IBM & women

    >>>> point to the unprecedented pace of change in our industry <<<<

    (1) IBM: = lostness, defeat, stooped shoulders as all RESISTANCE has been surrendered = deal goes down with a simple, "how do you spell your last name, what's your SS#, d.o.b., etc., just keep filing out the credit app., he\she won't STOP you

    (2) women: = the exact moment when she's fallen for you = all resistance gone = the main objection, whatever it was, has come off by the roots and poof vanished leaving clear skies. Her eyes tell of your victory as she surrenders, no words necessary.

    conclusion for (1) and\or (2)

for (1) Wave 3 down gets triggered and for (2) the kiss that follows is the sweetest and may never EVER be exceeded thereafter as the real world eventually catches up and muddies the water. So enjoy it and make it looooooooong. :):)

Just another day in real world closing for AfterLOS

  6. Look in the lower panel of IBM and behold the Volume + jagged flick Macd + histogram bar = signature of initiation of Wave 3 down

now look at Price's looooong distance below 200-day moving average - rally to at least try to test it sooner or later = try to get as much of the house, car and assets while emotion is still warm? Women! Know all their tricks :D

  7. Amigos,

IBM arriving at major Fibonacci support @ 38.2% = $160.22 of the run-up from 2008.

Manage your own short-term profit taking etc., there will be no further short-term mentions here. Will keep this thread for only DAILY timeframe.

  8. At any major support keep in mind that PRICE is the driver and only PRICE generates events not the other way around, so at 38.2% or 50% or 61.8% expect the company to trot out Warren Buffett for some pep talk - this kinda bs will kill short-term traders fast so keep finger on the short profit taking trigger near these major supports.

For the DAILY timeframe its not a factor.

    -------------------------------------------------

Warren can talk, talk, pep it up but he can't fool AfterLOS

$34 billion used to repurchase its own stock instead of investing in growth = CMwRH
balance sheet trashed = looks like a junk bond company now = debt/equity ratio to 243% from around 60% before the financial crisis. Shareholder equity is minus billions

  9. black pants + white-shirt = ruler + pencil = smile + ask her for date = simplicity itself

compare this Balance Sheet shenanigans, net operating income fudges, shenanigans with the stock buyback to make the outfit appear responsible and shareholder value aware = circular motion with the RH

    ----------------------------------------------

pencil + ruler on IBM weekly gives AfterLOS 2 trendlines of significance, one proprietary and the other from Classical TA. The latter one has 5 contact points = cast in stone near certainty

just with a ruler and pencil = no balance sheet required = just like in Sales in California, all the complexity that the sales companies use = mind-boggling, so much shite to take care of, figure this, figure that. AfterLOS can knock down a sale in well under 2 hours with no complexity whatsoever with just simple straightforward direct communication eye-to-eye and a handshake on closing, then after paperwork is done they want to make me part of their family = that's the power of keeping it simple.

    YAWN
