    Good Day All,

Some serious advice needed, and I hope I am posting to the correct section.

I am very interested in starting a futures signal advisory service. I am no young kid. I have been trading futures, equities, options, fx and bonds since 1989.

I have a developed, tested algorithm that was utilized by an unnamed hedge fund with good success over a 10+ year period. One of the developers was a local in the CBOT Bond pits, then a S&P local for many, many years.

While it can be used in most markets, it seems to do very nicely in the futures markets, specifically, ES, NQ, CL, GC, LC and LH. It also performs well in the fx market, (EU/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD & USD/CHF). Generally speaking, trades have a 4.5 to 1 profit to loss ratio. Heavy emphasis is on money management.

Trading signals would be disseminated once per day right after market open, which would include buy/sell levels, stop level and target levels. These levels remain a constant throughout the day. This is an intraday algo, so all positions that haven't hit its' target are liquidated by market close. No overnight risk.

Very simple to implement for the would be subscriber.

I would greatly appreciate if I could receive some guidance in getting the word out there. Feedback from anyone who has gone down this path before would be fantastic.

Of course, we would offer a free trial period, then a monthly subscription fee with a cancel anytime feature.

Just one request - please keep responses professional and without mudslinging. We would also be open to discussion for a potential partnership.

    Thank you!!!

    Thank you, Romik.
Are posting daily signals here and recaps here "legal"?
I don't want to anger the moderators.
And is this the right forum to post the signals?

    I appreciate your reply!

You do not need to post live calls here nor is such recommended because of the fact you are not a sponsor of this forum. Simply, you're not allowed to mention your service and you're not allowed to post links to your service...management of the forum is quick to ban people for such. Therefore, its best you contact the forum owner about their sponsor policy and a potential partnership at this forum.

In contrast, you'll reach a larger audience via posting your live signals on twitter.com or stocktwits.com without the headaches associated with doing such at a discussion forum especially if you post broker statements that verify you're able to trade you're own signal calls.

Simply, if you can't show that you're able to trade your own signal calls...most likely your subscribers won't be able to do the same and they won't be subscribers too long.

P.S. Best not reply because that can easily be seen as advertising. Therefore, just go ahead and contact Baron (ET owner).

I subscribe to several newsletters/services and what you have sounds interesting assuming I don't have to be glued to the screen all day. Any historical perf (actual or hypo) you could show in public or thru PM?

I think if Marketsurfer is allowed to do what he does, then anyone should be allowed, don't tell me Surf isn't fishing for $$ everywhere he posts.

So you have no real-time track record in a production account? wtf are signals worth if you're not trading it with real money? A "hedge fund" is trading this and you're sitting in your bathrobe trying to sell it to strangers in the internets?

I disagree. There could be value in hypothetical trades, as long as they are realistic to the participants. Some tipsters generate income from tips alone, as they could either have limited capital or psychological issues that prevent them from making rational decisions when in a trade. Most trading entities have analytical and trade departments.

Marketsurfer has been banned, which I suppose answers your question.
