I keep saying it over and over: A50 on SGX, A50 on SGX. Unfortunately I can't find a way to trade the CSI300 index specifically.

Thanks, was looking for active futures, but I'll check it out.

  6. Here couple HK Exchange tickers to get started: 2811, 2816, 2827, 2844, 2846, 3008, 3049,...

I cannot speak about their liquidity or short borrow ability and rates, and also note some are ETFs on subindexes of the CSI300.

    The wolf of chinatown street:

"Li Hejun, the chairman of Hanergy Thin Film Power Group. Li shorted his own company’s shares. He did very well. Trading at nearly $1 on May 18, Hanergy shares are worth about $0.25 today."
