I am damn proud of the Brits today. I honestly didn't think they had it in them, but by golly, they did. The British bulldog raised his rear leg and pissed all over Angela Merkel and her suicidal immigration policy. Of course the elite Brit media are full of sneering references to how the ignorant, racist, xenophobes were deluded by demagogues to vote this way. Sound familiar? It's hard to believe this vote was anything but a referendum on Merkel and the EU's refugee and muslim immigration policies. The Brits had a look at Paris and Brussels and said, thank you very much but we'll pass. A big win for Britain and a crushing defeat for Obama fan-boi David Cameron, who will resign. Obama looks even more ridiculous than normal. I guess we can officially put Trump's "bad month" away. He's riding pretty high today. This vote validates his entire platform and campaign.
Actually it's a referendum on austerity. The people most affected by immigration, city dwellers, voted against Brexit.
Nigel Farage admits he lied about Britain freeing £350m a week it can spend on itself. Nigel Farage admits there WON'T be extra £350m for NHS - within HOUR of Brexit result
You better take a better look at the demographics of the vote. The cities generally voted to Leave, the more rural areas voted to Remain. England and Wales had a majority voting to Leave. While a majority in Scotland and Northern Ireland voted to Remain. The cities and England are most impacted by immigration; an overwhelming majority in both voted to Leave. http://www.bbc.com/news/politics/eu_referendum/results
Now that the Pound is falling sharply, what do you think, jem, Britain's import prices will fall as well?
Another way to look at it is those areas have lots of immigrants voting. They have no stake in maintaining an English culture or tradition and, like here, probably resent it.
He only stated that he could not guaranty that the politicians would send it to the NHS. He also admitted that it was a mistake for the Leave campaign to push this point.
The U.K will endure some short term pain due to this vote. However it is better for the country in the long run.
