Bitcoin <$175 this morning. All you bitcoin believers still comfy about it?

  1. Hard to be confident when it's dropped from $1200(?) high.

  2. stocks,oil,silver...anything else can have 86% declines, why not bitcoin :)

When there is blood in the streets......

I Bot @ 600, (300,150 on flash crash a while back...lucky), and will buy 75 if it gets there. Only those who are in too deep with position size and panic sold got screwed. Small position size relative to portfolio, who cares. Yeah it's dead money now but if you have a 5-10 year+ outlook then expect many more boom and busts ahead just as in the past with cryptocurrency.

    Where are you short from?

If bitcoin fails, there will be something like bitcoin that is very entrenched in 10 years. Some Wall Street people have tried to calculate expected returns of bitcoin. No matter how I try to figure it, the expected return is always positive from these levels. That said, I am currently net short.

  4. "If Bitcoin falls under 99$ I will sell my car and buy it all in BTC - and catch the bus from now on. " reddit

Some people are truly all in :)

balls or brains, what is the difference lol

  5. Let me suggest... "stocks, oil, silver" are REAL assets. Bitcoin more like a fanciful notion.

    Clubber Lang likes this.
  6. stocks like citi and other TBTF banks are more fantasy than btc IMO yet how many billions of fun coupons are those worth?

The fact a real asset like oil or silver can have huge swings means that bitcoin or anything else can too.

One can send $82MM today for 4 cents of a fee through bitcoin. That is worth something among many other properties and I am confident it will continue to be worth more in the next 10+ years taking market share from all the fee whores of today. visa, mc, banks, western union ect. My money is where my mouth is, talk is cheap.

Again, where are you short from?

    Is that you ZR1?

If so, are you going to try and sell it in bitcoins online?

  8. Lol no that isn't me, it is some random guy on reddit who posted in the /bitcoin section. Thought it was comical how commited some people are to sell their car in order to go all in on btc.
