Investors or traders? Investors probably: Warren Buffet - obvious reasons Peter Lynch - Made some very high returns in the Magellan Fund. From 1977-1990 he averaged 29.2%...IN A MUTUAL FUND Michael Burry - Extremely intelligent, dedicated, and talented guy
Hmm Rallymode, sellindexvol, garachen, Mav, Handle123 lol Idk John Arnold comes to mind, I've always been really impressed with him. He did incredibly well with Nat Gas. I'm not sure who else I would say as top 3. There are quite a few big names and controversial ones, like Steven Cohen.
Druckenmiller: 30%+ pa, 30 years, no losing years Soros: something similar or perhaps better, but some losing years Buffett: great trader Peter Brandt: 40%+ pa over twenty years
I'm not too well versed in the history of great traders and/or investors....but the few traders that immediately pop into my head right now are 1.) Dan Zanger. "Having turned $10,775 into $18 million between June 1998 and December 1999" "Dan Zanger holds the world record for one-year stock market portfolio appreciation, gaining over 29,000%. In around two years, he turned $11,000 into $42 million" 2.) and that private/reclusive Japanese CIS guy trader who reportedly has a personal trading account over $100 million.
