    Hello,

I am inquiring on the reputation of The PropTrading Group. I have searched this site and have not found a lot of information. According to there website and thru emails I have learned that they have over 2000 traders and trade 4 billion shares per month. Apparently they are "the new WTS" for offshore traders. Does anyone have experience with them?

I have no experience with them, but it looks IMHO good, especially their commission rate is attractive ( http://prop.ky/compare/ ), and:
    "
Access to virtually unlimited buying power
Not leveraged – No 25K minimum capital deposit
    "

    Edit:
Not sure, but it seems they ask for 20% of the profits. Can this be true? They write:

"Proprietary traders trade the prop firms capital and therefore has access to virtually unlimited buying power. Since this is not a leveraged account the trader’s personal capital is not at risk. In exchange, the prop firm awards the trader a substantial bonus on (most of) the profit generated in the market. Since trade costs are based on executed share volume, larger prop firms are able to leverage the total trading volume of the firm to qualify for the lowest tiered pricing. This discount is almost always passed onto the prop trader, making proprietary trading considerably less expensive than a retail or discount broker.

I was able to negotiate a much better deal then what is listed on there website. The issue is it is too low that it seems unrealistic. I am looking for opinions on trading with them. Do they pay profits out on a regular basis as they say? Does the software go down often (We use Sterling API)? We trade early in morning...how is support? Any other opinions would be most hopeful.

  4. OK....I'll bite. What type of rates and payout did they offer you? Feel free to PM.

You can call them to discuss your situation. But on there website they list $.0002 (20 cents per 1000) per share with a 80% payout. I showed them consistent profitable trading and was offered considerably lower rates. We have been with the same group for long time but might open 1 account and give them a try. I was hoping for more feedback on them. They are very responsive to emails and seem legitimate.

  6. WTS had separate divisions, one for its domestic (U.S.) based traders, and one for offshore. The U.S. based traders (WTSprop) was acquired by T3 Trading.

It seems the link you found is the same firm as the already established WTS (Cayman), or perhaps a sub-group of WTS. In either case, the firm has been around awhile however it's only for offshore traders.

    Here's some info regarding WTS.

    http://wtstrading.com/newsroom/

"WTS Ltd. provides non-U.S. traders with access to a variety of proprietary trading platforms, as well as opportunities for skilled and entrepreneurial traders to manage their own groups."

  7. Some one mentioned to me recently that a branch of Title Trading in Canada charges 1 cent per 100 share with a 80% payout. I didn't pay too much attention at that moment and didn't ask for contact information of the branch. Now I search the internet and contact Title trading but can not find any information. Maybe you want try as well?

I'm Canadian, and I'm not profitable trader yet. Do you think that I can open a trading account with Proptrading Group? I planed day trading US equity. At the beginning I will scalp BAC, trade 100 shares and about ten trades per day. Once I make profit consistently I will gradually size up.I'm wondering what is commission fee in my case.

I'm with them. Feel free to ask. I really recommend them and cooperation with them. I was trading in many prop firms. This one is the best for me.

  10. It's so weird. I just called the Title Trading several days ago by the phone number listed on it's website, there is a guy answer the phone promptly. Although he is indifferent in my inquiry of opening an account, and let me search the branch by myself, seems this prop firm is still exist. So those traders who didn't get paycheck last year were in specific branch or country?
