I have tried unsuccessfully to setup an ACH transfer from my ameritrade acct to AMP. Amp lists their account number and their ABA number, along with a 'further credit to acct #'. On the ameritrade ACH form, there is only a place for one Bank Account Number. I have tried to use both my account number and also Amps account number here, but the ACH setup fails. How should I set this up? thanks.
AMP is set up to receive ACH deposits, not pull funds. It is not like an auto-payment set up, where you approve or set up an ACH pull from your account. In most US banks, in the online banking portal, there is an option to select the your transfer preference. For example, Same Day Wire - $30 or Next Day ACH - $20 or 3 day ACH - $10 or free depending on your bank. So depending how fast you want your bank to send AMP your funds, is where you would select from the available transfer options in your banking portal. @AMP_Trading @Redneck Can I perform an ACH transfer as a Canadian, with an US Account? Because AMP widely states that it "Accepts FREE ACH transfers". No where on the customer dashboard, does it prompt you for ABA routing numbers or Account Information.
