A friend of mine asked this question but I thought it wise to seek more answers

  1. “I live in Europe, I want to invest 1000$ dollars in Tesla and 1000$ dollars in PayPal. And let those money sit for at least 5 years. How can I do that without losing from commission charges”?

  2. In America, we have discount brokers who would charge ~$10 commission. Do you have anything like that in Europe?? Or, are you trying to avoid the $10?

Dude.. you're pissing me off. All you keep doing is asking questions and then never participating in the answers. Its like you're just collecting data or something, but I almost find you're wasting everyone's time. Most people here who ask questions have something invested in asking and hence they participate in the reply process, but you seem to just want to ask because you're bored.

Sorry to be so harsh, but it doesn't sit right with me. Its almost like you're just trying to wind people up and then watching the show.

    Without losing commission charges???

This isnt 1982 where a single commission cost hundreds of dollars....its 2015. You are going to pay commission charges anywhere you go, but if you are worried about $5-$10 in commission to trade $2000 worth of stock then you shouldn't be trading anything....just paper trade and forget about it if you are worried about $10 bucks for a trade you are going to hold for 5 YEARS.......I have probably already spent over $1000 on commissions in 2015 alone and you are worried about a few dollars. Come on....this has to be a joke to start a thread like this..

  7. May I ask a question? If he puts money on stocks for 5 years, he only has to pay commission once, right? $5-$10 in commission would only be charged when he first buys those stocks?

Yes just once... And AGAIN when he sells

By the way I spent about $48 in commissions alone today...so $10 bucks shouldnt break the bank on those trades

  9. So the fee is based on each hand, not on share volume? But $5 each hand seems not suitable for active prop trader.

  10. What on earth is this guy on about?! why would you even do that anyway
