  1. if there is nothing wrong, I wondering why there is so many security and system updates?

    I may only guess you do not use it as heavy as some other do.

  2. I will also add that if you are going to buy a laptop make sure it has dedicated Video memory, not shared memory. It is even better if it has a dedicated GPU and not an integrated GPU. As I mentioned earlier though you need to be sure it's not a network bottleneck or you will just be throwing away money and not solving the problem.

    Try to source for the following setup for your trading system.
    They are not the best but it's priced reasonable and very stable setup.
    You can have this setup running 24hrs/5days.

    OS = Win 10 Home/Pro 64 bit or Win 7 pro 64bit

    Motherboard = Asus E3 Pro Gaming V5
    Processor = Xeon E3-1270v5, 3.6ghz, 8Mb Cache

    HDD = SSD 250gb.
    (Use External HDD for any additional storage or backup.)

    Ram = DDR4 2133Mhz 8Gb x 4pcs
    (If have enough $$$, go for ecc ram but its not necessary. ECC will decrease system performance around +/- 2%)

    Power Supply = 600watts and above
    System Case = Corsair Obsidian Series 750D (3 fans is enough but u can go for 6 fans~)
    NEVER use water cooling kit. I once had mine leaked and i almost throw the whole system out of my window. Btw, i stay at 30th floor~

    Display Card = Gigabyte gv-r938wf2oc-2gd x 2pcs
    (Each Display Card support 4 screens. If you have 2 cards, you can have a 360degree view all over ur head!!! Wahaha~)

    And lastly, get the fastest internet available and direct LAN connection.
    If not, you can opt for wireless.
    Router = Asus RT-AC88U
    Adaptor = Asus PCE-AC68

    Hope this help~

  4. ^^ Seems like OVERKILL.

    32GB Ram?!?! The OP probably only has 8GB now and not even using all of that.

    Dual video cards?!?! For trading only? He is currently using a laptop that probably has integrated graphics and shared video memory. If Graphics are his bottleneck simply moving to a good dedicated GPU with dedicated video memory would be more than enough.

    600W PS? Yeah IF he was using dual vid cards which I doubt he should.

    Even if he got everything you mentioned if the bottleneck is his network connection to his ISP then NONE of what you suggested is going to help.

    This is why I cannot stress enough, buying new hardware without knowing EXACTLY where your bottle neck is at is just wasting money.

    Well if some news hits you with some popup and whole system simply freezes that means you have really incapable system anyway for that matter. And you really need to change the whole PC if you can't make money on it with comfort, that's important.
