Save yourself some time Gloria Brown; a book on tape reading is about as useful as a book about swimming. You need to spend hundreds of hours doing it. I have looked at quite a few books mentioning tape reading and none of them were helpful. One thing I will suggest is to use a footprint chart alongside the tape reading to show previous bid/ask volume. DO NOT do this for the first hundred hours or so, just look at the tape. After you get a feel for it add the footprint so you can look back in time. The depth of market is something you should be looking at along with the tape.
