By the way. On my charts,
Bids and asks are implicitly analyzed.
By plotting the price against the Cumulative Volume Delta.

Save yourself some time Gloria Brown; a book on tape reading is about as useful as a book about swimming. You need to spend hundreds of hours doing it. I have looked at quite a few books mentioning tape reading and none of them were helpful. One thing I will suggest is to use a footprint chart alongside the tape reading to show previous bid/ask volume. DO NOT do this for the first hundred hours or so, just look at the tape. After you get a feel for it add the footprint so you can look back in time. The depth of market is something you should be looking at along with the tape. Have you looked at Jigsaw tradings free training material?
