Anyone using charting other than xstudy with TT?

Discussion in 'Trading Software' started by livetransmissio, Apr 21, 2016.

  1. I'm looking for an alternative preferably cheaper than CQG.

I use market / volume profile and also charting custom spreads.

I'm looking at Sierra Chart at the moment. Any other recommendations?

Www.eSignal.com version 12 is a very modern piece of software. Will work as a spread calculator like cqg. If you want really cheap then look at www.tradingview.com html 5 will work on a tablet or phone just as well as a browser. CME use it on their website. I think tradingview does spreads as well.

The new TT Platform (free trials offered at www.trade.tt) allows you to create custom spreads and chart them using their latest charting features. Price and Volume Profile charting is not yet available for spreads but will be later this year.

NinjaTrader is a fantastic software with great charting capabilities. It is free, until you need to place live trades.

  5. So it's not XStudy?

Correct, it is not X-Study. The new TT Platform is fully supported and managed by TT in a hybrid cloud solution. We manage the tick database and market data delivery. So any problems you may have had with X-Study in terms of market data integrity have been solved with this new solution. We will continue to develop this product to include all the features you would expect from a professional-grade charting solution.
