I'm curious to know which component(s) are most commonly repaired/replaced on refurb units. Is there any way you can tell?
Today (03/15/2016) only. For the FW cash back you have to make membership at fatwallet.com and start shopping from there following referral link
In my experience, the most common component to fail is the optic drive... followed by RAM/PSU. Of all the "refurbs" sold by manufacturer outlets, having to replace a failed part is only about 15-20% of the ones offered as "refurbished".
Probably. If your case is "SFF", you'll likely need a "half-height" card. If mini tower, any quad will fit.
Make an account at fatwallet.com. Then go to https://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/ look under computers. Sign up for alerts etc. or just look for current deals. I post deals here if a) I get an email from them + b) I happen to be paying attention + c) I could be bothered to post it here for whatever reason
