I recently went to always in except being stopped out on add-on trades. Gold was exited before I went to always in based on original entry. Lots of time periods where it retraces or sideways, but opportunities to do time decay options while waiting for continuation of trend.
LOL How did you put it "a bad call with a bad timing, just recognize it" Your right, I have no emotion, it is just numbers, that's all it is are numbers, program does all the work, I check each day to make sure program does not do an Opps. Once you start caring of what others think about you, you are toast. No such word when trading, caring. But I still believe now that one should not think it is oversold or over bought, anyone ever think Google would be the numbers it is?
Shorting Gold is a ST bet. I would rather do the opposite. Be long and hedge for small corrections like the small one of these last days. Remember, Paulson aka mister copycat lost his shirt being long Gold all the way down. This is a strong buy signal! CM
I wish I could buy but we all have our rules and have to do what I been doing. It be impossible for me to lose my shirt, it is painted on, LOL
he still manages 17 billion, wouldn't exactly say he lost his shirt with that said, i'd be a buyer if 1188 holds
Right, today. Paulson made 1 good year in his entire career, by finding an enough dumb company to take an insane bet. 16 Billion ? Bill Gross used to manage more than 200 billion, less than 1 billion today. Bill Miller 30 billion, less than 500 millions. Ego kills. King for a day, fool for a lifetime. CM
I've started to build positions in coal. Just like biotech, I was very early in building a position. Held miners from September low(GDX), then got bear trapped before the 3 month move in a few weeks. Laughable. Anyways I also like Gold a lot. Waiting for any pullback it will give me, and I will buy everything I can get my hands on.
Why expecting gold to move higher in a deflationary environment with cryptocurrencies rising? Some good points here: http://www.priceactionlab.com/Blog/2016/02/gold-cryptocurrencies-deflation/
