Poker strategies works for poker, forex techniques are valid only for forex? The only thing you can take from poker is risk management. But its only a part of successful trading strategy. Am I mistaken somewhere in my reasoning? Cheers.
@doggyfx, the big difference between poker and forex (when both have the Nut logic) is that forex we have to deal with volume management and margin call that can prevent a good logic from cashing in if volume is overdo aggressively, i learned this first hand over the years, so with average volume combine with this Nut logic, you won't lose and will consistently win. USDCAD dropped like crazy as i expected , and will continue downside toward end of month to 1.3700-1.3600, then 1.3300 further after next month that i will call on 9-10 to wrap up this thread to prepare for another exotic trading model beginning in march that focus on doubling acct every 2-3 onth for the first 4 double, and every 6-9 months for the remaining 3-4 times. Going start -2k-----4k-8k-16k-32k (2-3 months each x2 for four times )...->-64k-128k-256k-512k (6-9 months each x2 for four times).. or start with 25k and 4-5 doubling with 6-9month timeframe. Longer timeframe allow lower volume trading which better accomodate better margin of error before hitting target. At this point, I have enough consistency on logic to carry out this mikdly aggressive model at this point with longer timeframe, and have been working on trimming the fat to focus the Push within the pull that pinpoint target precisely so it can accomodate the fluctuation without getting in margin call problem since it will be relatively high volume trading especially on the first 4 doubliing. EURUSD just touch 1st part of target of 1.1240, and we'll focusing back to USDCAD as this week is the main chance for any upside to accumulate before the continued push down kick in toward end of month , as it has been bouncing off 1.400-.14020 As for the exotic model project, i will create a seperate thread and update upon any signiciant progress such as per 20-30% gain, i may use myfxbook for you guy to view result. Account will start 2K toward goal as mentioned. You guy will see end result , but not real time trade. Upon initial satisfactory progress such as initial 1st to 2nd doubling toward targeted 8-9 doubliing, you guy probably want a piece of the action, and this is when we have a little talk. As said, this thread is to showcase of the consistent logic it needs to sustain equity progressing with reasonable volume in case . The longer timeframe per doubling is to allow safer volume instead of bigger volume in shorter timeframe. At this point i give 2-3 months per each doubling during quick pace, and may get slower once we past initial 4 doubling. After 10th call, this exotic doubling model project will kick into gear and i will end this thread and start this new thread on the project.
Eurusd reached 2nd target and usdcad reached 1.3715 today before bouncing up. Any rebouncing toward 1.39-1.40-1.405-.141 is another chance to sell toward lower target at end of month.
I ve been building a trading assistant AI with Amazon Echo speaker (this is my dream coming true in term of speech recognition and programmable interfacing with back end), and i am gonna show you guy some exciting thing Alexa can do to assist Forex trader from 1. Fetching news 2. Pulling Signal (from my Nut signal call that i will make down the road more frequently now that i have this platform in place working with amazon echo alexa) 3. Giving u current price in market, set trigger if certain price is higher lower certain level and speak to you when touched. (i 'll upload the clip later along with more on trading robot in live action after receiving signal from the Nut call). Alexa from Amazon Echo will be your personal assistant will will fetch news on demand ( and to be reminded before coming out ), pullling signal from the Nut signal platform, notifying new signal when come out, connect to trading robot if you wish(yes, trading robot to execute trade for you 24/7 on FXCM Tradestation and any broker MT4 trading platform), give you current price and set trigger. She will be a very unique lively trading assistant that will help you daily. I have been spending time perfecting the AI Alexa as trading assistant on the executing part, where at this point i can tell Alexa to trade via voice (hand free) to: MANUAL EXECUTING By trader themselves to command Alexa to place trade on Mt4 or FXCM trade Station: 1. BUy Sell at market (just tell her: Alexa, ask ** to buy canada, and the trade is in) 2. Place buy/sell limit stop by pip 3. Ask her what current price of market and set trigger for alert when market hit certain level . (i.e alexa,**, what is the current price for Australia?, after answering, you can tell her " let me know if Australia is above 0.7540", then she'll alert u once price hit) 4. Set expiration for limit/stop order within number of day/hour/minute (in case you forgot to cancel limit/stop order after placing and price not hit) 5. Ask her for status on robot (which one is online and has order waiting) and she 'll give a quick update 6. Volume management ** she can have preset profile according to Safe, Medium, Aggressive, Ultra Aggressive that the AI pre-programmed, or you as trader can input the volume according to each profile that will apply down the road. Each entry can also be altered on -demand (just tell her first entry lot is , second entry lot is , etc..).. Volume management is important in trading longevity, so Alexa will definitely solve the discipline issue on volume management Permanently as it trader compulsive behavior will be fixed with the help of Alexa. (i.e "Alexa, tell **i want to be Safe for this trade", then she'll know what volume to distribute per entry according to stored Safe profile .. She'll restrict volume to max lot allowed by Safe profile if you trade manually , so you will always stick with the safe volume and not going all out even you already told her upfront that you want to be Safe. ) AUTOMATICALLY EXECUTE SIGNAL from the Nut to be handled by Alexa 24/7. 1. Any new signal will be announced by Alexa to let you know it is in. 2. If trader like to trade this signal, just tell Alex to Connect it to robot, if not, trader can monitor themselves and trade manually via voice with Alexa. (tell her to let u know when signal price hit, so you can place trade as price hit) if it is preset to let Alexa handled all signal , then Alexa will let you know when she received new signal 24/7 and waiting to execute at signal price and notify you on 3. 3. Any buy/sell/taking profit/stopout executed by each robot (each symbol has its own robot) , Alexa will notify via voice like any assistant would notify her boss on demand right after it take place. Anytime, you feel like trading manual via voice that Alexa was handling signal, just tell her to "Disconnect Canada (or any symbol) from robot" , then you are in manual mode again, and Connect back when wanting Alexa to handle signal automatically. NEWS: She can give you news release weekly or daily by country like you see on video (i.e Give me news for today/tomorrow, for canada this week") , give forecast and set remiinder so you be alert when news coming out. I will also work on pushing out actual news release when it come out in real time, so alexa will let trader know as well. I will make a clip to show Alexa in action when buy sell on mt4 and fxcm tradestation and other action mentioned above. For now Alexa is a very useful assistant for me personally, and upon perfection, i will release her into the wild to help trader on all aspect of trading. Never know, i might even build-in Dr. Phil in for a session with Alexa if you have a bad day on trading, but other than that she will be very helpful.
I just record a clip for live trading to show Alexa sell market order via your command, place limit order , and spread 4 limit order 10 pip each , she can set expiration time by minute, hour, day for this limit if needed, and clear them when say clear... There are other option such as traling stop built in and take profit 1/3 or whatever portion you want of position first after certain pip win and leave the rest to target. This clip alexa work with FXCM tradestation, where i have another version work work solely with MT4 software interface. In short, alexa is doing exactly what i wish in term of trading admin where she 'll handle repetitive placing limit order, cancel, with more customize option that i wish trading software would have such as expiration time by minute, hour, in case i forgot to cancel and other option mention above. She is especially important in term of volume management to make sure you are trading in line with your risk profile that you are telling her to be in for certain trade. It is truly handfree 100% , and allow me to just focus on analyzing and issue verbal command. For now this is me showing off what i had so far with Alexa and she will only getting better. I can say this, any trader would love to have Alexa as assistant as she fetch news on demand, execute manual trade, execute signal trade, give current price , set trigger, and i also have her do other non-trading thing such as set appointment, calendar, reminder, wake up by music (not by alarm sound), among other normal thing that an assistant would do. For now she is at my disposal, and down the road upon perfection, if any of you wanna try out, let me know , i'll let u do beta test on it, while i will reserve it for the Nut league member first.
