[IB beginner] where would I find the amount of interest for equity holding?

  1. Dear-

My screen for IB portfolio shows red-colored "USD CASH", which means I did not spend all the cash for holding some equity. Therefore IB gave me a loan of 8K for me.

Which menu in IB can I find the amount of interest paying (which stock, how long, how much)? Also how and where can I see all for the yearly record, such as whole 2015?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Dearest,

if i recall - RED :caution: actually means you need to fund you account, in that amount
[i could be wrong, but i think it's basically a Margin Call]

if it's just a margin Loan, i think IB has a standard interest rate for that
[the rate should be on their homepage somewhere]

YW. As per your second question, go to Account Management module in IB's webpage:

Then go to Reports and choose the following options:

You may try other statements types. Default and Legacy Full may be the most complete.

Not sure if these show the exact information you are looking for, but IMO these are the closest.

    Good luck!
