    Hi Guys,

Looks like Interactive Brokers stopped offering access to ICE ECX EUA FUTURES. Do you know another broker who can offer access to this type of product, more or less same conditions like IB?

    Thanks a lot,

What conditions would that be? Most FCM offer access to this in some fashion. Either directly or though another broker. If though another broker, the commission is slightly higher.

I am looking for max 30% margin, 10 Eur per lot and initial capital around 20-30 k Eur.

This is news to me. I see ECF on IB just fine.

You can see it but you cannot trade it. The moment you want to open a position on Dec16 (for instance) it says "This contract can only be closed". The worst part is that they didn't say anything, after several attempts to open new positions I had to call CS to find out that they decided to close this product.

Yep, you're right. That's pretty damn lame and I cannot see any legitimate reason why they would single out this contract.

True. The guys from customer support had no clue about, they had to ask trading desk and basically it was a decision took over night. The worst part is that I was caught while rolling my positions. I closed my Dec15 and when I wanted to open Dec16, surprise. So far I saw SaxoBank is offering the same product.

Funny how that works given its now at a multi year level. More than meets the eye here IMO.

BTW: Did anyone ever figure out from IB what exactly the issue is/was here? I see no reason to discontinue trading on this contract.
