Looks like there gonna to be Santa Claus rally this year. Support that I mentioned last week worked perfectly. Below you can find updated charts on S&P 500: hourly, daily and weekly. All support/resistance that are important to me remain the same.

Last week market moves. Here you will find some stocks that I’ve been trading, top gainers, review of sectors.

Most of trader talked about one stock – KBIO. It moves during post market almost 1000%. In just few session it moves over 2000%, finishing week with 1923% up. Crazy! It remind me AQXP, which moved up like crazy few months ago!

Did you ever calculate commissions that you pay to the broker for a possibility to conclude transaction? Do you know that with a use of proper tools, you can avoid the commission? Avoid or considerable reduce transactions cost. Hereinafter you will find advice, how to do it.

Last week was relatively quiet. Thursday – Thanksgiving day – so market was close. Next day – Friday – was Black Monday, so were trading only till 1 P.M. Volume this week was much more lower. Stocks, especially low float ones, were pump and dump (just few example like KBIO, AEZS, EFUT, RPRX, MCUR). On Monday there is last trading session this month.. then Santa Claus rally?

Again most talked stock was: KBIO. A lot of pumpers last week: AEZS, EFUT, MCUR, RPRX, BONT, HART. Because of shorter week (not trading on Thursday and just few hours of trading on Friday) the volume was much more lower. Top gainer last week was: AEZS. It was up 161,5%.

I very often hear a fallacious belief that trading only consists in searching for companies to take a long position. Long position i.e. purchase of shares and expectation for a rise or quick move up. But what I like most is trading a downtrend.

On the largest stock exchanges in the world, which are US Stock Markets, traders have possibility to earn also when stocks prices decreases. It is trading on declines – so-called Short Selling.

When I started trading on US Stock Markets, I associated such words as NYSE and NASDAQ. I had no clue about the existence of any other markets. And as it turned out there are AMEX, as well as Pink Sheets and OTC-BB. A few years ago AMEX was taken over by NYSE.

NYSE join NASDAQ and decide to eliminate stop orders. This is ridiculous in my opinion! The New York Stock Exchange, in a statement, said it would no longer accept what are called stop orders. It is going to start from Feb. 26. Also good-till-canceled type of orders is going to be eliminated.

S&P 500 analysis – market driven by ECB and NFP data
Welcome in S&P 500 analysis. Last week market was driven by data from ECB and Non-Farm Payrolls. Again during session indices remain relatively quiet.

A lot of pumpers last week: THST, QKLS, CLNT, CJJD, CJJD, GBIM or GIGA. So some good trades on them: after quick pump, most of them moved back very quickly. But all in all not the best trading week for me – not many good signals. So also not a lot of trading. Good luck next week!
