I haven't started active day trading yet--just paper trading for about a week now. I don't have multiple monitors to set up with my laptop, but I have three tablets : Ipad Air2, Nexus 9, and a Kindle Fire. I'm just wondering what others think about using these for displaying charts, indicators, etc. while trading? I really don't have enough space to fit 2-3 monitors right now, so I would like to consider the tablets. Does anyone use tablets instead of monitors?

Surface 4 Pro i7 16gb runs everything well. As a swing trader I don"t really need much screen real estate.

Yeah, i use a linx 10 inch tablet. Works ok for what i want which isn't machine gun trading.

  5. Modern trading front ends move all of the work onto co-located servers which greatly reduces your hardware requirements. We've a browser based solution for futures trading and you're welcome to give it a try. http://about.trade.tt/

I never even own a single tablet, you really let me know does that tablets can be really connected to desktop as some monitors or such ? I simply do not get it really. Please do explain cause they are all different in your case and I am a bit lost there.
