Running much better now.
One needs to do this occasionally.

I remember discovering how a newly lubricated bike chain made my bike run better - it was when I was a kid. So I started oiling it all the time and being disappointed when the already sufficiently lubricated chain didn't provide a performance boost when I lubed it again.
