What do you think about Shark Traders

I also just opened an account with shark Traders, but I don't need to purchase lvl 2 quotes because fortunately I had another prop account with another firm and still have there platform which includes free lvl 2 quotes. Honestly though I think the T&S is more important because it's easy to for traders to throw out fake quotes on lvl 2 in an attempt to fool traders. T&S always reads true

 

Yeah, completely agree, lvl2 can be a trap as does not show the real picture, So I just purchased LVL1 + Edge and Bats (10 $ for two) and it seems to be enough for me.
Yesterday it was my second day with them, nothing to complain so far.

 

I found out that Shark Trader does not allow US Citizen to have account with them. They accept only non US Citizen.
Does anyone here has any opinion about this? Or anyone who has account with them is really not non US citizen?
Just want to know how big of issue is this.

I am from Russia so do not know about US. But as I know Chris2407 is from US and he opened account with them, so maybe he would help with it.

 

I joined them 2 weeks ago and just commented what I think. I did not find any comment that praise Shark Traders here... So what is the reason to think it is a shill thread?

 

Hi, I am not with them now. Could you tell that if thy are good for day trading. I mean do they have the good short list and hard to borrow stocks.

 

Hi, my strategy is supposed to short only and I have no problems with them so far, so if we talk about shorting I can recommend them.

They seem to be at British Virgin Islands, so the fund deposited with them are not secured by any organisation, right?
