This question has been asked and answered several times over the years. I am sure you can search for them but the short answer is:

No. NinjaTrader does not spy on your trades nor collect user’s proprietary trading systems.

An what's wrong with word of mouth about something that ones like. I always give credit to where it is due. Ninja is a fantastic software that is extremely cheap. I have been using it for a long time and only have good things to say about it.

Just curious how me speaking Russian (and few other languages) have anything to do with this thread.

OP question resonates very well with me. I had the same concerns years ago when I started. If he makes it in this business, he will smile back at these concerns.

How can you really know that for sure tho? Unless you can get ahold of their source code there is really no way to know. Their TOU basically say that by posting any content using their services grants them an unlimited license to use said content however they like.

RedDuke, you mentioned that if I had a successful method that this shouldn't be at the top of my list of concerns and discredited my strategy without knowing anything about it, but now you're saying that it was one of your concerns?

Also, isn't my code exposed in raw form to the trading shell?

In case you are not aware, I am the Founder and CEO of NinjaTrader. I believe that I have earned the trust from our 40,000+ users and 3rd party developer partners. In a prior post you challenged my response. I can understand your concern about security however I don’t believe there is anything further I can say but to re-iterate “We don’t spy on your trades nor steal your code.” If you have technical questions, you may contact our support team as we are happy to assist.

I'm aware of your position. I guess i'm a little more hard headed than your 40,000+ users. What I want to know is if you have access to my code, since it is exposed in raw form to your trading shell. I'm sorry if i'm coming off rude but could you or a member of your staff explain how you do not have access to my code?

  8. .... seriously?

By that logic, Microsoft has access to anything you've ever done on your computer if you use Windows.. you know, because you've typed it through their 'os shell'.

Just put on a tinfoil hat already and go live out in the woods.

Haha actually there's something called encryption. But there's no winning this debate, so I guess i'll take the CEO's words as fact.

The odds are that you are new to auto trading. The clue was you worrying about this staff. That was me years back. Since you are new, most likely what ever you have will not make money.

I obviously could be totally wrong, and you have a fantastic system. I would not bet on that though.
