RCG and its NFA record

  1. Okay, so I choose RCG, I get some very good commission rates. Then I checked out their history on NFA and they have an alarming number of fines and cases against them etc. They have more than any other brokerage and I tried very small firms and large ones too. Do they have a bad reputation? Based on this information, should I decide against them or is this being presumptuous?

  2. My questions exactly also. I was considering RCG as well but I was really hesitant after reading their mountain of regulatory actions. The administrative and record keeping ones I can ignore but the ones that I am concerned most is with their commission calculations arbitrary actions brought in by their own clients. There is quite a few of them.

As a client, I am NOT interested in signing up with a broker that short-change me my money. And yet, RCG has been in business for over 25 years and is one of the biggest self-clearing FCM around and with a huge customer base.
