I hope this is the right sub-forum. I'm not very computer savvy, and currently use an Excel sheet to calculate several values for a few futures contracts. I have TOS and CQG charts, I assume TOS will be easier to use. I can program my calculations into TOS, and it works well, plotting the calculations and value lines on the chart correctly, but I am curious if I can get it to overlay multiple timeframes of these same value lines onto one chart. So, example... using a 5 minute chart, plotting the values for 5min, as well as 1 hour, daily and weekly values on the same chart. How do you do it? TIA

I know it can be done in the latest Tradestation version, because I saw it myself. The problem is that it was programmed by a real expert in programming. So probably not within your (or mine) knowledge.
He even made charts were an indicator was using mixed data from different timeframes in one calculation.
He was able to replay data in the smallest timeframe while the indicator in the highest timeframe was updated each time the smallest timeframe went up 1 unit.

Hypothetical example: an hourly timeframe that uses 1 minute data too. It would show you an hourly chart that minute by minute changed because of the influence of the 1 minute data on the calculations from the hourly chart.

PS: This programmer is not interested in working for others because he has his own company.
