Glad you had it resolved. What is most important you were succeed to prove to the broker that fault was on their side.
Makes me wonder what kind of Broker you are dealing with. If it is a market maker then you should expect things like this to happen. Slippage occurrence is normal with almost all platforms. However, you should minimize your risks by trading with an STP broker.
News these days cause slippage in many brokers. Those with variable spreads increases their spread to a large extent. A trader cannot even trade with pending orders these days.
Slippage is something common with almost all brokers, more on others, even I have encountered some slippage on hotforex but nothing major and rarely does it happen. and make a habit of talking to execution dept if the slippage is crazy.
I have heard lots about the slippage thing and saw slippage comparison of different brokers on autotrading platform. This is really a bad thing for auto trading actually.
yeah something we all have to deal with, even us manual traders, but some brokers do reimburse =, it happened to me once about a year ago with hotforex and i got my money back but its not a requirement i mean some slippage are just an avoidable.
That is true. I use the Profiforex platform and have got just 2 or 3pip slippage on few occasion with less volatile pairs. Have never had a slippage with EURUSD, don't think that will happen.
