Why be in London at all? I'm assuming that liverpool street works because it's where people commute in to from West Essex, rather than because they're living in say Hackney. It's got to be cheaper outside the M25, plus you're going to save on £3K a year season ticket, and travel time. A few prop shops / shared desks have popped up in West Essex from time to time, although I'm only aware of one that seems to be active right now (no connection or endorsement is implied). So might be interesting to find out where people actually live, and see if an ex London space makes more sense. GAT (Chelmsford)
I might be interested. Location is everything though. West London places like W1, Mayfair, Baker Street, St John's Wood sort of area would be great....Canary Wharf would be ok, City (liverpool st, aldgate) ok, West Essex definitely not!
thanks will send you a pm. For me west essex is not an option either, I could make jokes but will refrain! Mayfair/city/canary wharf good for me. if anyone else i interested please pm me or post in this thread. we can then pick up in a private thread. GT
I am looking for a desk from 1st of august in the west end. Contact me by PM if you want to join me. I have a couple of places I am considering.
I ended up at www.rentadesk.co.uk in WC1. There are four people trading fx, futures and options here and there is room for more.
That's great just21, the price looks superb for that location. I bet the mobile scenery is good too. Are they ok with you having a couple of large monitors and a desktop under your desk?
I have a 4k 32 inch monitor and desktop PC. It is a very sociable place. Let me know if you come for a look.
Chairs not very comfortable at rentadesk so I am at home before moving to Camden Market in October. 1500 desks available sign up for more info at www.interchange.io Fabulous views of the city skyline and hampstead heath/highgate.
Canary Wharf anyone? I know someone who trades here http://www.level39.co/membership Cool place, though pricey. GAT
