Hey Dems, leave the children alone

Here is a great story from Good Morning America with George Stephanopolus.

Five-year-old Yasmeen Faruqui didn't feel like doing her homework. She insisted she wanted to write to President Obama instead. And he wrote back.

"Please stop war for our world, instead have a meeting," reads Yasmeen's handwritten note, posted to Twitter by her aunt. "Please give a speech to tell everyone they can marry who they want."

Yasmeen's words were all her own, her mother told ABC News. (After all, only a 5-year-old would note she's "almost six" in a letter to the leader of the free world.)

"I just let her do her thing," Tasha Faruqui said. "Those are absolutely her spontaneous ideas. ... She has a mind of her own!"

Yasmeen, who's set to participate in a family member's same-sex wedding ceremony this fall, was bothered when her playmates insisted "boys can't marry boys."

"I don't think that's wrong," she told her mom.

They need to start the brain washing at an earlier and earlier age these days since their entire narrative is viewed as a joke by most thinking people.

Every week in Canada, I read articles about the endless rapes & murders of young women on First Nations reservations covered up by tribal leaders. There is also a continuous stream of articles regarding financial fraud by the First Nations with government money, absurdly high alcoholism rates, and the majority of tribe members living off of social benefits while refusing to work.

There are numerous issues with the First Nations tribes - this kid with the sign is a stark reminder of why it is hopeless to expect the tribes to resolve their issues and accept personal responsibility.

  4. And then there's religious indoctrination...yes, leave the children alone, whoever you are.

Yes, because liberals desire all children to grow to be little heathens with no moral compass.

  6. Religion does not instill a moral compass. Morality does not stem from the fear of a deity's retribution. The very premise is corrupt. And so, you don't need fantastical sky creatures to nurture empathy in a normal child who has the capacity for it. And empathy is at the very heart of morality.

Here is a child raised with lots of nurturing liberal empathy...

I'm inclined to agree with this. While not overly religious, I do believe in God and try to convey that belief to my son. But for moral compass, I defer to my martial arts training and the Virtues of Bushido. I have found that instilling virtues of Honor, Honesty, Courage, Respect, Righteousness, Loyalty and Charity do a much better job of instilling a deep understanding of religion which, in the case of a 7 year old, is a bit too deep to understand. Later in life, I will introduce him to formal religion and allow him to make the choice on whether he wishes to pursue it further.

  9. Why would anyone pay attention to a 5-yr old about anything?

Peoples' brains aren't fully developed until they are about 24-25 yrs old. Anything they have to say prior to their "age of mental maturity" is from a non-informed, non-experienced, non-mature reflected perspective. (Includes teenagers' and college students' views which should be equally disregarded.)
