It’s weird, I did not see SHAK or CMG in that list. I thought @marketsurfer was a “hedge fund expert”. It’s about time hedgies buy the price drivers!
Thank you for this interesting post. I will predict all of them for one month ahead in two-three days time. Let's see if shorting the stocks is reasonable. But, probably, they don't really care what to short.

Also, since this is a list sorted by highest value of short position outstanding, 1) Title is deceptive & potentially nothing to do w/ Hedge fund outright positioning 2) Issues tend to be some of the larger CAP stocks; which you would typically use, to some extent, as more of a general directional MARKET/SECTOR/THEME position &/or MARKET/SECTOR/THEME hedge position 2) Because of (2) no expectation that these stocks are particularly disliked by one group of participants In conclusion, article is total cr@p, but thx for posting, always interesting.
