It can't be that much cheaper...What a $30 difference.. you can't be that cheap . Plus I heard the Hp gave problems..
I bought two different HP's thinking first was a lemon, 2nd one I couldn't box it fast enough and donated it. Also, Acer was crap, happiest with Toshiba, couple hundred more not going to break the bank and in long run costs less as less over heating and screens last longer, but lot depends on length you want to keep it and if it just for trading or email. I get new trading laptops every 18 months, but keep email laptop forever even if I have to reformat it few times, LOL I think you want to investigate to find one's you can hook up another monitor, add ram or wired mouse.
I looked at the MSFT surface pro 3--- I dont' like it-- but I do like the dell XPS 13-- I just ordered it and will return the HP if I love the XPS. I know its not a tablet but a laptop, but its very light....
all my laptops were/are Toshiba but Surf original request was more for a tablet. If he just wants a laptop Toshiba it is.
I have used laptops/tablets from HP, Sony, Fujitsu, Asus, Dell, Lenovo/IBM, and MS Surface Pro. At the moment, Surface Pro is the best, and Lenovo is pretty good too.
I'll be glad if the Surface Pro 4 ditches the fan. tablets/laptops with excessive heat/fan noise just suck. They just SUCK!
Lenovo's new Yoga pro3 uses the M chip and they got a lot of positive reviews. I was at an Apple store this morning and checked out their new Macbook with the M chip and it is quite awesome. The Surface Pro 4 is expected to come out around the end of next month and should be great.
I am also looking for a tablet, some thing as pictured. (Surface Pro 3) Does the surface pro 4 have a bigger screen ?
