  1. Hi Traders

Which software do you think is the best/easiest when it comes to identifying stocks to trade Trade Ideas or TC2000?

    Cheers

From my experience - Trade Ideas is much more better. All depends on your needs. I've been using it since 2008, and testing also other scanners when any new is launched.

TC2000 has charting, Trade Ideas no - for me this is the biggest difference. But it doesn't matter if you have your own charting system on platform that you use.

TC2000 - 89$/monthly | Trade Ideas - from 75$/monthly. Both offer better price when buying for whole year.

If you wanna try Trade Ideas - I've got nice 30% rebate on it. Just PM me.

Most traders use TC2000 for charting, there are other websites that provide excellent scanners eg FINVIZ, Yahoo finance (free and premium versions) and TC2000 also has a cheaper $19.99 and free versions..

PS I am not affiliated with TC2000...

Yeap has cheaper version but I guess it was with delayed quotes?

If you just need delayed signales - check finviz - great website!

I don't know much about tradeideas but I use TC2000. I have a love and hate relationship with their (tc2000) software. There are features in their I really like for example scanning based on formulas that you construct using OHLC & they are awesome for it & cant live without it. They are very fast. So for scanning you can flip charts very fast.

On the same token I hate them in number of areas. I may need to put a separate post for the same. For example, they have many bugs and they don't fix it fast. Their software update cycles have become like once every year and incremental features they add are a joke. They have not updated their mobile app for may be 4 or 5 yrs. Any bugs you report, it gets a number assigned and goes in to trash as we never see it get fixed. Their development process is a black hole and noone really know if and when any of the bugs that are reported in the forum will be fixed. Unfortunately, sometimes it makes me wonder if they are even investing in developing their platform any more. Good software with great potential that needs attention from their development team who so far have no accountability to fix anything.

If I get a chance I will try to post a list of good and bad things with tc2000 based on my experience using them for many years.
