For cane, how do the spreads on ig compare with Fxcm? I doubt that they can be as tight but if they are not too bad I might give them a try
Have you tried to consider Tickmill? I see USD/RUB there but don't know if the spreads there are high. I hear liquidity on ruble has been cut fine so I guess there was a sharp increase in spreads. Moreover ruble seems to slowly getting stronger against EUR and $ for last 2 months. Is it temporary upturn till news sanctions come out?
Yeah I see Tickmill offers tradeable USD/RUB pair but does it worth to trade it with substantial trading potential? It'd better to focus on oil, nice upturn movement, Middle East crysis will surely jack up the oil price. There is WTI CFD in the platform how can I compare the spreads with other brokers?
I have used Hotforex for a long time, and it's ok for me. Actually there are some good brokers, if possible, you can choose one after do some research.
I dont have another clue with USDRUB, since the last stall up last year, I missed that's chance . oil price are bit more promising nowadays, cyrsis are happen all the year my friend. Tickmill recently introduce these new CFD, and oil are the most interest me most. they offer very low spread on it. For spread comparison there's no such website provide with OIL price mostly with currencies gold an silver. not even myfxbook listing oil price at their spread comparison page, perhap due different on pair symbol ( at the end of contract). but you can still attach spread indicator manually attach on different brokers platform, just like the picture above.
in choosing a broker, i hope most newbies will not just simply rely on basic "hey use this" we can recommend and even share our exp with our brokers, but in the end traders should decide based on their on research and findings.
we all rookie traders backthen, but truly any user review page are more helpfull. for example at myfxbook page, fpa, etc, and ET forum are most renown for many expert trader gather around.
It is true that specially newbies should be careful when choosing their broker, and not only reading a few reviews is just enough for making the choice. I would suggest to trust in a regulated broker which offers reasonable spreads and commissions, apart from a type of account suitable for our needs, low minimum deposit, high leverages, easy withdrawals and of course a good customer service. I have tried several brokers in the past and now I'm also trading with HotForex, and if it helps I can say this broker offers all mentioned above.
