Why are there links to where people live?

I clicked on a posters place where he lives and a map and pictures of his house came up with his exact address. Why?

 

My guess he entered the Google maps GPS coordinates in his profile:

 

Yes, i saw these coordinates from somebody too. But will not post his name.
