I agree with Trade2Live. Google scares me lately.
I am glad sometimes that google does automated blocking but it scares me a little bit. Let me give you an example that changed everything for me.
Recently I went on a vacation from NYC ->London -> Hong Kong. I took pictures on my samsung phone( a lot of them) and after I returned i got a note from google asking if I wanted to see a album of my travel and share it. I immediately asked myself "Which Album?, What?. When I opened i saw a my pictures nicely organized into a great street view of every place i walked. For a moment I was not sure if I need to be impressed or Scared. I had only asked google to backup my phone. It scares me that they have decided to create an album and are prompting me to share it.
I guess convenience comes with a risk always...

It is scary...Kind of like the intruder who cooks and cleans:
"Imagine coming home to a clean house, your laundry folded and dinner made. It's a dream come true for most people, but for one South Bend woman it was a shocking and unwelcome invasion of her home."

Its a shame google cant write good software, there user interfaces are poor, android is missing features others have and is still clunky and amateur like, my contacts werent sinking on my phone for ages since an update, needed resetting to sort, useless.

And when they do make something usefull and nice, suddenly it disappears or they merge it into something else hateful to force you to use that like there google+ crap.

Dont like iphones or prices of sadly so stuck with them for ohones, tried Win8 lack of support ruins it sadly, no trading app for it.

Gmail is horrible recently, the way it puts messages together but hides the latest message utter arse.

  5. I have win7 64 bit,
and have been experiencing unbearable chrome popup re-directs recently.
A page pops up, that you can't get out of.
I can't get rid of them totally.

What are they called, and is there a solution?

One temporary fix seems to be Ctrl Alt Del, task manager,
and close Chrome pages, until you find the culprit page.

    thanks

  6. Not sure if this will help in your specific case, but you can try this, if you haven't.
