Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

    Well,

after all these years, and reading and rereading this thread and some others, I think I have stepped through the glass these ten last days. Finally. :)

Actually, all the elements were floating in the back of my head for several weeks already, but it needed one little trigger, that small final trigger thought that connects all the dots and give birth to the final concept. You know, a bit like when you keep repeating the end of a joke or a wordplay that you did not understand at first and then comes the "Oh okay, I got it !". Except that for me it took a bit more than one second ^^

One english sentence that comes to mind is "If it weren't so serious, it would be funny".
It almost feels embarrassing not having been able to grasp it earlier.
This thread is literally full of clues. There was an elephant in my living room and I could not see it. Never lose sight of the first post.

Also, know that, among some others, TFF members (The Five Fingers of one hand ? ;) ) and Redneck are really, very, very, kind-hearted persons for having done what they did or are doing.
If you think this thread is 'rubbish', then it is. If you think this thread might contain some jewels, then it does.

    No kidding at all :D

I think it's a good read all by itself, well worth reading.

As for the 'crock of S--T' thing Johno mentioned, I disagree.

Most people will look at the girl and see her spinning either to her left or to her right. But when you look at her from a different perspective, focus on different points, you'll suddenly see her spinning in the other direction. And with a little bit of practice, you can make her spin whichever way you want. Obvious fact: the image didn't change, you did.

I don't know if I see what OP meant. I also don't know if I see the same thing Vindago and 030985 see and it doesn't really matter at all (though I'd be curious, because if you think about it, there really aren't that many ways to skin a cat). As already stated a number of times in the thread, there's only one metric that can tell you if what you're doing makes sense: your account balance. Everything else, whatever anybody says or writes or does, is simply not relevant.

Being that this magic secret can never be spoken about, maybe it's best that this thread be closed now?

    Hey guys,

Can some one please give me the actual usernames for "TG and MrC"

Interesting - must read some of this thread and reply.

Did it feel something like this before you stepped through the glass?

    Magic secret!!

I thought 030985 gave some insight.

Close the thread - do you own this website or are you just mad because the blinkers are glued to your brain?

This thread was basically the ET version of a con job. I'm amazed how many got fooled by the OP who was merely trolling the board for fun. One could speak in riddles on almost any topic and persuade some that something magical is being spoken about. Kind of like dealing with Ouiji board, the only magic it has was the money it made for it's creator. Of course, when people are fooled, they don't want to admit it or in some case accept it, so the whole exercise can take on an expanded life.

If the OP was genuine, he could post on here now and state exactly what he was referring to in his original posts. He won't, because there is nothing genuine about it. If he truly believes in his own ideas ( no matter how delusional they may be ), confirming his ideas will only disappoint those who seek some magic here.

It's a great illustration of human nature though. Salesmen and some religious leaders understand this.
