cheeseburgers on the grille

  1. One options guru (the Pirate) calls predictions cheeseburgers because they are easy to make, anyone can make them, most everyone loves them, devours them, and then forgets about them until the next craving sets in. (he also says all ships at the bottom of the sea are filled with charts).

My cheeseburger deluxe is that we are going into recession, the last GDP number was a complete swag. I am going to buy call options on TLT. I will post the trade when I place it.

Feel free to grille your own cheeseburgers!

I've been grilling TLT calls the past week or two also, and have made enough to buy some mayonnaise and maybe even some zinfandel to go with the burgers. Let's hope the party continues!!

I hope those are long term calls. TLT is $4 above the 50 day DMA and call IV is at the YTD high.

  4. been waiting for a decent pullback, haven't got it yet...

Yeah. 8/20 was a dud. Grats.

  6. got off target and missed my entry for TLT...still think we are headed for a recession, these gov econ numbers are pure bs, the lowering unemployment claims are a joke, cant get fired if you aint been hired...

I think after the nov election we will start seeing worse numbers from the gov...

Still in.....what now? Looking pretty toppy, and curve flattening. But we don't have negative rates yet.

Still in TLT calls. Forget burgers, need tenderloin. But this all has to end somewhere. Whither TLT?
