Looks like nobody here has "eyes-on" experience with the rig you mention. Try it and let us know what you think.

In the end i went for 2 LG 29inch computer monitors , 3 23 inch ones and will add some more later. It seems to be working well.

Mates got the Samsung 55" 4K Curved TV ( same maybe? ), connected to his laptop looks great from 6ft+ away, stick your charts on it then watch another TV and have all your charts nice and easy to read from anywhere in the room.

I tried a 50" UltraHD, and trying to get it to work properly was a big waste of time for me. The issue was connectivity -- it simply wasn't ready -- the existing standards didn't have the bandwidth and/or are at best hacks. I don't think the situation is much better now.

I wouldn't attempt UltraHD again until next-generation connectivity options (such as DisplayPort 1.3 or USB Type C) are in the channel. (USB Type C looks particularly nice -- a single cable type for basically everything, including UltraHD.) And I also wouldn't retry it until monitor/graphics card/OS combo's have been qualified by someone else, preferably the monitor and/or graphics card companies themselves.

  6. Yep, the main problems with the TV's it's their resolution and they need to be watched from a distance like 5 to 10 meters at least and I do not see how it will work later anyway. Please bite me if I am wrong. In case if you need some presentation - for sure do.
