Does anyone have any experience with FCMs that have access to the Chinese futures exchanges?(China Financial Futures Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, Dalian Commodity Exchange, Shanghai Futures Exchange)
You need a local chinese ID card to register an account, even Hong Kong Chinese can't do commodities futures in CN. I asked earlier this year.
I think the closest thing that you can trade is SGX FTSE A50 China futures. It follows CSI300 futures. It gets about 300k Volume per day. Interactive Broker offers this.
IME many investment products are closed to foreigners in China, even closed to foreigners residing in China. That beeing said I'm curious about low risk products in the chinese market, I can get access but getting the information is very difficult, especially if one doesnt read chinese (banks offer fixed duration (1 to 12 months) products with between 4.5 to 6% annual returns but I'm curious about other products avalaible, including onshore rmb bonds, and what the banks offer is not quite clear either, there is not much of a prospectus attached)
