Anybody out there familiar with MTI- Market Traders Institute??

Discussion in 'Educational Resources' started by AM Bankus, Jan 8, 2013.

  1. I read this post by another unhappy MTI student or at least someone who had attended their webinars........

Had an interesting call with "Market Traders Institute". They claimed that they teach people to average 70% return per week. Of course that would compound to $1 million a quarter per $1000 invested. Ya we all have days like that, but not every day, but the guy on the phone implied as average ROR. Pretty much the whole call was "fear of loss" and "magic bullet" sales with some one who called them self an educational specialist. Seemed like code for sales guy aka closer, started naming a bunch of promotions to get me to part with $2000 on the spot... or wait I think he said payment plan to...I hung up at that point.

But he wasn't finished. Later I received an email with a headline - "NO MORE EXCUSES" Inside I was informed that because I was especially selected, I could take advantage of a never before offered 40% discount off the course of the program. The complete Ultimate Traders Package for only $4100. This is there words, not mine. Only $4100?? Oh yeah. I'm going to jump on that one. But the real kicker was that I was offered this "never before offered 40% discount" at least 4 times since last November. So much for "never before offered." I had to wonder if these guys ever keep any records on who they communicate with or just have so much turnover with their sales people that newbies are not aware of what is going on.

The claims made by MTI just seem too good to be true. With investors losing an average of 95% trading Forex, how could MTI have this many positive reviews and success? I don't believe it. And if MTI has so many happy an successful students, how come they are never nominated, let alone win any awards from Trader Planet which every year asks clients to vote for the best trading courses?

Sounds too good to be true.

    Caveat Emptor!

This was pretty much my experience as well. They get your name from Trader Planet or some other source and one of their amateur telemarketers invites you to a FREE WEBINAR. We figure FREE, hey that sounds good. 90 minutes and expect some education. What you get is a sugar coated sales pitch with very little training, even if you are a complete newbie. Then you get pressured to buy their course and are inundated with phone calls and emails.

Interesting too is that when they call you it will show up on your caller ID as a local number even though they are calling from Florida. As if nothing else they do is not deceptive.

I wouldn't even recommend the FREE webinar unless you have 90 minutes to waste.

Also recommend you read the other complaints on this thread and others to see what people around the world say about MTI and Next Step Financial Holdings.

    By Mr. Tom.....

Look they called me many times and I trust them and gave them the security three number of Master card on the back.

In the next call they improved me that they already took the money
(cca. 3.500USD). In two days they took the whole limit, we didn't make that deal.

Sorry to tell you this Mr. Tom, you sound like the typical people that MTI caters to. And I have heard this same story many times. While they promise a money back guarantee, few if any receive it.

Sorry to hear about your issues. If I were you I would contact legal aide and report MTI to the state AG and the local BBB.

Hi, that's right, the price is 6.000USD with 60 day warranty money back if you won't satisfied. I didn't be satisfied and they stol cca. 3.000USD from my credit card without my permission. They are give you some fake signals, a lot of talk and nothing useful. They will call you until they will take off some money from you.
This is a scam criminals!!! Be careful!!!

There is something to be said about the value of education. I too was wondering if there is any real value to the education that MTI offers. From what I have read here and elsewhere, it doesn't seem like it. I have attended both their forex and options webinars and the information appears to be basic as basic goes. Not worth the money.

Hold on a minute. All of you lot slating this company. Last November I took the course, paid my fees and asked for a month extension on the initial 2 month money back guarantee. I have 2 jobs as well. I managed to complete all 16 lessons, watch 10 hours of the analysts on demand and freedom and wealth seminars. I found their customer service was excellent and online support 100%. Unfortunately due to my demanding jobs I requested a cancellation and refund which I received 2 weeks of my request. No problem, liars cheats here!!!

The fact that you just joined yesterday, makes your post so credible.

The only WORKING method that was being taught (for money) that I ever heard of was SOES bandits way to trade.

Does it matter WHEN I joined?? The fact is I have experienced this company first hand and I am familiar with Forex courses, etc. So no sarcasm. I am defending a company that HAS actually delivered what was promised. I think half of you guys probably found the stuff too difficult hence the bad reviews.

It does matter for a lot of folks here when you defend a vendor in your first post on the forum.

"Too difficult", thanks for making me smile.
