Can I use Amibroker to code my system, and then link it to Interactive Broker's TWS to automatically execute the trades for me? Before I go down the path of learning to program in Amibroker, I want to know if it will even work with my account in interactive brokers. I have an account funded with $40,000 and my system runs between 9:30am and 10:30am EST. Typically 3 symbols are traded in a day. Will I need to pay for a specific account data or something if using an automated system?
Why not just look at the amibroker website? Especially http://www.amibroker.com/at/ should provide you with all details. Or visit the usergroup and its ATS subgroup. And NO, it won`t cost you an additional dime to use the IB api.
